KAA is honoured to have the presence of our Deputy Premier; YB Prof. Dato Sri Dr. Sim Kui Hian to officiate at our annual Fundraising & Charity Food Fair 2023 at the Association of Churches Hall, Kuching on Sunday 16 July 2023. KAA has achieved its targeted goal of raising more than RM300,000 with the participation of 97 stalls ranging from NGO’s, Service Clubs, corporate companies, parents of autism kids, special-needs teachers, and members of the public.
During an interview with the press, Organizing Chairperson, Ms Connie Yeo, also the Fund Raising Committee Chairperson of KAA mentioned that the amount raised exceeded the targeted goal and is a new record for the Association. Connie Yeo added during the interview “We experience a deficit of RM750,000 for operating costs every year. Therefore, the funds collected will be used for the overall operating costs of the centre,” she explained.
KAA would like to take this opportunity to thank all our supporters and sponsors, dancers, and performers, members of the public and everyone involved for the success of KAA’s Annual Food Fair 2023 and we are looking forward to the 2024 Food Fair.
