April 30th, 2023, marks the comeback of KAA Autism Awareness Run after taking a 3-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The Bunny Run for Autism 2023 was well supported by corporate sponsors, service clubs, NGOs, special needs groups, parents, educators and families with autism kids. With 2,000 registered participants, the Bunny Run was Autism is one of the biggest post-pandemic runs in Kuching. Opar assemblyman YB Billy Sujang flagged off the Run at MBKS Kuching Carpark, together with the Main Sponsors, 38 Yayasan Amal Cinta, Silver Sponsors, Lee Onn Construction Sdn Bhd and I-Metal Sdn Bhd, KAA President, Dr Catherine Chen and Organising Chairman, Duanne Reggie. Through this Event, RM 90,000 was raised for the Association.
Well done and congratulations to all the participants involved in making the Run a huge success. Our deepest appreciation to the agencies involved in donating funds, goods and all contributions that made this charity memorable and successful. We look forward to future partnerships and support, not only for future Charity Runs but also for other KAA events that will be organized in the future.
